Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by PisaMate to explain what data we collect and how we use it. It is not a certification and should be reviewed by the app owner with legal counsel before publication.

Information we collect

• Account: email, authentication provider, and password hash when applicable.
• Profile: display name, avatar, birth date, gender, location, languages, travel styles, interests, and bio you provide.
• Trips and matches: destinations, dates, notes, interests you send, and conversations with matched travelers.
• Technical: basic device/browser information and log data used to operate the service.

How we use it

• To create your account and let you sign in.
• To match you with compatible travelers and to display your public profile to signed-in members.
• To keep the community safe and enforce our rules.
• To improve PisaMate's features and reliability.

Sharing

Your public profile and trips are visible to other signed-in PisaMate members. We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted infrastructure providers to host the service; they process data on our behalf.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and trips within a reasonable period, retaining only what we need for legal or safety reasons.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your information from your profile page. For any additional privacy request, contact privacy@pisamate.app.

Children

PisaMate is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
